Normally the adjective is made from the noun by adding 'y'.

 

E.g. breezy, drizzly, cloudy, showery, wintery, frosty, misty, foggy, thundery etc.

 

Other adjectives are:

 

Patchy - occurring in localised areas (e.g. patchy showers)

 

Dense - thick (e.g. dense fog)

 

Settled - stable (e.g. settled weather)

 

Heavy rain - raining hard

 

Wet = damp = raining

 

Hazy sunshine - sun shining through the clouds

 

Strong winds - wind blowing hard
