And now, the end is near; I've lived a life that's full.
And so I face the final curtain.		I travelled each and every highway;

My friend, I'll say it clear, And more, much more than this,
I'll state my case, I did it my way.
of which I'm certain.

Regrets, I've had a few; I did what I had to do
But then again, too few to mention. And saw it through without
							exemption.

I planned each charted course; But more,
Each careful step much more than this,
along the byway, I did it my way.

Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew	I faced it all and I stood tall;
When I bit off more than I could chew. And did it my way.

But through it all,					To think I did all that;
when there was doubt, And may I say - not in a shy way,
I ate it up and spat it out.

I've loved, I've laughed and cried. And now, as tears subside,
I've had my fill; my share of losing. I find it all so amusing.

Oh no, oh no not me, For what is a man, what has he got?
I did it my way". If not himself, then he has nought.

To say the things he truly feels; The record shows I took the blows -
And not the words And did it my way!
of one who kneels. Yes, it was my way!
