*Up to 20% of the programmed classes in any month can be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance without any charge. Over 20%, the student is liable to pay 50% of the cost of  classes. Cancellations at short notice will be charged in full. If the teacher needs to cancel a class, if possible, the class will be rescheduled for an alternative date.

The teacher must be informed at least 2 weeks before a student cancels due to holidays. Block cancellations at short notice will be charged as cancellations in advance (see note above). Classes can be suspended for a maximum of one month per year.

* What does 'No Show' mean?

As anyone whose job involves meeting people knows, there's nothing more annoying than when you arrange to meet someone and they don't come.

It's even worse if they don't give you any justification for not showing up. Every one of your classes is an arrangement made between you and Viv, and he is waiting for you arrive! Most of my students are very reliable and always ring or send an e-mail to let him know if they won't be able to come to class. However, a few students have got used to cancelling classes without warning the teacher.

Cancellations without warning will be listed in your bill as 'NO SHOW', with the number of times this has occurred and the dates of the previous times it happened. If you do this more than four times in any twelve-month period, your course will be suspended for one month.

If 'NO SHOW's continue to occur your course will be automatically terminated.

Just let Viv know before your class is due to start if you have to cancel a class the same day due to an emergency at home or at work. If it's impossible to do this, call him as soon as possible on the same day as your class was supposed to be. Cancellations on the same day will be charged in full, but at least Viv won't have to worry about what has happened to his students.
