: Brasil, Rio de Janeiro State, Angra dos Reis,
collected by Luiz K. Correia de Araujo, nš 58, on the 6th September, 1984. Holotypus at Herbarium Bradeanum HB .
Description : this species differs from the typical variety by being smaller in all
parts, and having inflorescence with no more than 6 flowers.

Comments : some plants from the original collection were cultivated by us for
several years, but lost afterwards. We
