Here's the xmas edition of the newsletter, including your invitation to the annual xmas drink at the Queen's legs pub in Lagoa (See map below). It will be at 9.00pm on Saturday the 6th of December.
The idea is to have a social evening in which people with a common interest (learning English) and their partners can meet, practice their English - if they want to, and perhaps try their hand at a game of darts!
Try to arrive before 10 o'clock as the darts doubles event will start then. The cover charge is 11 Reais per person with live music later. Please try to tell Viv before Friday 5th if you've said you will come but won't be able to make it as I have reserved a table for us.
What's New?

Books can be borrowed for up to ONE MONTH, reference books and magazines for ONE WEEK. If you realize that you are not going to be able to finish a book, please return it as soon as possible.
